Background of the Study
Youth empowerment is a critical aspect of national development, involving the provision of resources, opportunities, and support to enable young people to realize their potential. Public relations (PR) plays a pivotal role in promoting youth empowerment programs by creating awareness, fostering community engagement, and building partnerships with stakeholders. In Funtua Local Government Area (LGA), Katsina State, youth empowerment initiatives face challenges such as limited awareness, resource constraints, and socio-cultural barriers. Research by Ahmed and Bello (2024) highlights the importance of PR strategies such as targeted campaigns, stakeholder engagement, and media advocacy in driving youth empowerment. This study examines the role of PR in promoting youth empowerment programs in Funtua LGA, emphasizing its strategies, challenges, and outcomes.

1.2 Statement of the Problem
